Education Loan Scheme

NSFDC, New Delhi has implemented an EDUCATION LOAN scheme from 2009. Under this scheme, Education Loan up to Rs.30 lakh finance is provided for post graduate students in India and Rs. 40 lakhs abroad. Rate of interest for study in India is 6% p.a. for male & 5.5%p.a. for female beneficiaries, while for study abroad Rate of interest is 7% p.a. for male & 6.5%p.a. for female beneficiaries. The loan repayment period for loans up to Rs. 10 Lakh is 10 years & beyond that it is 12 years.
